The Devil and Fire Sister (Tarot cards): Quick interpretation – “Bad News”

The Devil in the tarot can represent, among other things, our “Shadow.” The part of us into which we cram all our fears, wounds, shame, judgment and everything we don’t want to see or acknowledge about ourselves. So, naturally, it is dangerous and often indicates the dark side of anything.

The “Devil” is on the loose right now. All the suppressed energy of human fear is erupting in violent form here, there and everywhere. It is seeking release, freedom, recognition, redemption…

Yeah, bad news is everywhere.

The good point about bad news is that it brings awareness to the Shadow for the purpose of shifting or healing it in some way. However, bad news has become a bad habit of humans. It dominates the thought patterns, thereby perpetuating itself in the life experience of everyone who stays on the bad news rollercoaster.

Yes, I see that but we’re going through a major awakening and consciousness shift. So much of the Shadow is being exposed and there are collective movements and shifts around the world to address these issues. How else could it happen without all this crap being flung up in front of our eyes?

Exactly! You SEE. You see the mechanisms at work without being caught in the machine. What is being exposed in the news is the manifestation of the human Shadow which has been building in volume and pressure in the collective unconscious for thousands of years. All that you see playing out on the great stage of humanity is the compilation of the fears and false beliefs of separation inside each of you. Every separating thought, word and action you’ve released or projected into the world is a part of the unconscious throw-up that’s happening now. 

What you have all been asking for and what is being asked of you now is to think your way to a new world. By training and strengthening your mind to think with the qualities of love, gratitude and appreciation no matter what subjects you’re thinking on or in what conditions you find yourself, all your endeavors, all your progress, all your creative brilliance, all your relationships and all your industry will be inherently harmonious and sustainable. In this way, you can still enjoy the vast diversity of human expression and creativity while remaining free of the handicaps of limited, narrow, exclusion-based thinking. Begin where you are now: in your jobs, families, relationships, your own bodies, your homes, your countries. LOVE and APPRECIATE in every thought and watch the becoming of Utopia.

Meridian, this is huge. And scary in its totality. Is this really possible for humans?

It’s possible for every human who takes it on. And then it snowballs. This is a solution without limitation and without end. It works on all levels, from micro to macro.
